No Trend was an American punk rock band formed in 1983 in Ashton, Maryland. They were known for their confrontational and unconventional style, both musically and lyrically. Their music often featured dissonant guitar riffs, minimalist arrangements, and abrasive vocals. No Trend's lyrics were often dark and satirical, addressing topics like consumerism, conformity, and societal hypocrisy.
The band gained a cult following in the underground punk scene, particularly for their controversial live performances. No Trend's most well-known album is "Too Many Humans," released in 1984, which includes tracks like "Teen Love" and "Mindless Little Insects."
